Thanks to Peter 2E0SQL (www.2e0sql.co.uk) my weather stations website is now back online.

The address is wx.m0tzo.co.uk and is more or less as it was before. Twitter account is twitter.com/SuttonWX.

Something new for it is the iPhone/iPod Touch accessible pages. Visit wx.m0tzo.co.uk/iphone if not using an iPhone. iPhone users can visit the wx.m0tzo.co.uk address and will be redirected.

As before this Will only update when my main PC is on, Somedays this will be from morning until night, other days will only be evenings.

The Twitter account for the weather station has been working for a while now, but same rules apply regarding it’s updates.

Now one last thing. Make sure you have descent backups. Mine were poor. It’s taking me this long to recreate the site. I now have the Important files backed up on DropBox. Please don’t take backing up for granted.

It’s not a new machine, but was from shop that buys & sells them second-hand.

The model I purchased was a Blue 2nd generation iPod Nano with 4Gb of storage.

I have already almost filled the unit with my stuff.

I started with Pink Floyd’s – Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd, the some other stuff including Ministry of Sound, M-People, Mike Oldfield & Jean Michel Jarre albums.

To do with Amateur Radio I added a Morse Code tuition course, but realised this would be a problem when I used the random shuffle feature. A program was soon found and the files converted to AudioBook format. This took over an hour, but now happily enjoying my morse training.

Other features have also been put to use, including my contacts, and calendar events.
