This year I should be attending the AAS Pub Meet and the following days the The Smartphone Show.

Also JimH has a Wiki page at The Smartphone Show with some info on who is going and some other info.

Some of you may remember I posted (although I have deleted the posts now) about stomach pains I was having which resulted in me being hospitalised twice before over last 2 years.

Well at the end of July I was rushed to hospital again. After more tests and being used as a pin cushion as they had problems finding my veins I was taken into surgery. They were going to investigate what was causing the pain (I had no other symptoms) with the option that if the Appendix looked bad they would remove.

The Appendix didn’t look good and they surgeon removed it during the operation. I spent 6 days in hospital in total and about another 6 weeks off work.

This week I was back at work (although finishing an hour early each day) and in some ways I am glad to be back.

Is this the end? Who knows!

Currently in a Internet cafe on the Island and the weather is Hot Hot Hot. Almost too Hot for me!

Didn’t expect to find an Internet Cafe but has given me the chance to catch up on Emails, etc on the net.

Not much more to report as my Dad is working today and week has generally been slow. Will be posting some photos in my Gallery upon my return home so keep a look out.

Back to the Hot Weather Now!

Day 1 on Isle of Wight and I am drunk. It’s nearly 7pm and have been drinking for last 4-5 hours.

Why? Well I am going to blame on my dad’s birthday, but maybe because I needed a drink.

Whatever the story, here I am not even 8pm and would be unable to drive (if I was licenced).
