Quick Update from IoW

Time is running out at the library, but this is a quick post to let you know by the weekend I will have uploaded my Holiday photos (I am still away) to my gallery.

At the last rough count was about 200. Should get back Thursday and have started upload of photos Friday.

IoW & LoTW Update

Been on Isle of Wight since 11:30am on 16th May. We spent evening at various Pubs and had a meal at one of them.

Have been contacted about getting a lift to “Isle of Wight Radio Society” club and will be picked up Friday evening to be taken there. Always managed to sort a lift back as well, so will speak to people when there.

Hoping to get on their rigs and put some calls into their logbook.

Logbook of the World Update:-

2EØTZO has now had following calls confirmed:- DR2ØØ6P, ES1GF, DJ9AO, LY3BA, DQ2ØØ6Y, IK8NIJ, 9M2CNC, GØRTN

MØTZO has now had following calls confirmed:- G3YYD

Need to work on MØTZO getting some more confirmed.

Hopefully more updates later in week in either Blog. MØTZO going QRT.

More Adventures from IoW coming soon….

Just to let all my readers know (well that’s assuming anyone does read this) that I am off soon to the Isle of Wight for another Holiday.

I will “Try” to update this blog while I am away, and if possible post photos to my photo gallery. It’s possible that both posts and photos will be delayed until I am back in Sunny South London.

May 2007 Gallery

At the moment I am not 100% sure of the date I am going. But my Annual Leave starts when I leave work about 5pm Friday 11th May 2007 until 8am Monday 28th May 2007.

Also for the Ham Radio readers (will post on my radio blog as well), will be taking radio with me and trying 2m with a Sota Beam I have ordered and also trying HF PSK.

Course Success

Well over the past 6 or so weeks I have been helping run an Intermediate Licence course with my local radio club.

This weekend was the exam and we have put 6 new Intermediates on the air.

Thankfully I will get back my weekends and this weekend will have an extra day thanks to May Day Bank Holiday.
